Shared Independent Living (SIL)

A Lifestyle to Suit All Your Needs

Citrus Cottage Disabilities supports people with disabilities to live in a diverse range of shared independent living arrangements in Southern Highlands.

Our Supported living arrangements offer our residents quality accessible homes that cater to the individual support needs of people with a range of disabilities, with between two to three residents per home.

At Citrus Cottage Disabilities, we aim to pair with other housemates so they will get along. Through our initial consultation, we identify the same interests, hobbies, and age similarities. We have found that these techniques enable us to best match you with people who tick your boxes.

Our trained staff provide quality support and ensure that all residents live in a safe and happy home environment.

Developing life skills in disability

Life skills are the skills you need to make the most of your life. They help you strive to achieve your goals and live to your full potential. Our team helps disabled people develop their life skills and lead an independent lifestyle. Our personal services at Citrus cottage, as part of your NDIS plan, can help you gain new life skills that will have a positive impact on your whole life.

Household Tasks

Depending on the type of disability a person has, it is difficult for people to participate in daily tasks and activities around the house. For a person living with a disability, things as simple as cooking and cleaning can be a hassle. If the disability prevents you from doing things effectively, the NDIS support plan is likely to include services for housework.

Our goal is to help every disabled person optimize and simplify home work by introducing our reliable and friendly support team. You can try our services, our consultants will talk about your needs and provide a daily home activity that can help you while providing the best experience.
